HB Archive

Images taken in Holly’s Collingwood home and studio, November 2024.

The more makers I photograph, the more I experience how deeply connected their craft is to their life, space, and thoughts. Holly’s space and practice reflect the same thoughtfulness and clarity she puts into her garments. It’s hard to separate the two. Being in a space like this is moving — where a personal practice is also something shared with the community.

I found it calming to be around Holly’s work. Her space and garments are deeply intentional, with a sense of slowness that contrasts with the pace of everyday consumerism.

An afternoon spent observing the pinning, cutting, threading, folding, pressing, and stitching that is HB Archive.
